Supplier Planning & Relationship Analyst

One of the UK leading FMCG Fresh Produce marketing companies currently seeks a Supplier Planning & Relationship Analyst to jointly develop strategies and business plans with suppliers in line with the business short and long-term projections. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the UK's foremost fresh produce marketing companies, be in contact with all major grocery retailers in the high street and develop strong relationships with fresh produce suppliers in the UK and overseas.

Role Objective

• Generates effective long term supplier plans that meet financial objectives and drive the correct volumes through the Supply Chain.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers through implementation of strategic plans which meet suppliers and our expectations
• Manage and update a volume plan tool that consolidates all customer programmes and suppliers/growers availabilities. Ensure forecast is received from production areas.
• Measure supplier’s performance in line with volume, sales and promotional plans.

This role will entail overseas travel, predominantly to mainland Europe and North Africa.

Experience profile

• Ideally 2.1 degree or equivalent
• Graduate professional qualification, preferably Business Management.
• Minimum two years experience in similar roles
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical aptitude
• Ability to build relationship with suppliers
• IT literate
• Administratively self sufficient po
• Spanish language expertise preferred
• Able to work on own initiative
