Ethical Trading
Poupart Limited is a strong supporter of ethical trading practices. We instruct each of our divisions to be responsible and pro-active in minimising the environmental and social impact of their trading. Externally, we also actively encourage our growers, suppliers and packers to implement these practices in their own businesses.
Concept Orchards
Poupart's Concept Orchards (one conventional, one organic) have been planted to demonstrate the fast-track growing of conventional varieties to achieve volumes of UK produced organics in the shortest possible time.
Waitrose Foundation
The Waitrose Foundation is a unique partnership between Waitrose, their importers, the export agents and the growers who each donate part of their profits to create a fund.
Skip2Bfit
The Skip 2B Fit scheme aims to introduce skipping to a new generation. The scheme was set up by John McCormack, once the No.2 ABA Ranked Heavyweight of Great Britain and now a fully qualified Professional Boxing Trainer .
Organics
Poupart Imports started its Organic business in 1998, with the simple aim of supplying top quality organic citrus fruit to its existing supermarket clients already being supplied conventional produce.
