Organics

Poupart started its Organic business in 1998, with the simple aim of supplying top quality organic citrus fruit to its existing supermarket clients already being supplied conventional produce.

Our Organic operation is licensed by The Soil Association and all fruit packing is carried out in a dedicated and approved organic packhouse based in Kent. We currently supply 100% of Waitrose Organic citrus, complementing the conventional business that we also supply.

Our fruit is imported from both Northern and Southern Hemispheres to maintain a 12 month supply. Supplying countries include: Spain, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Israel, Morocco, Argentina, USA.

Our range of Organic products include oranges (navels, valencias and blood oranges), clementines (clemenpons, clemenules, fortunas and ortaniques), satsumas, lemons and grapefruits.

Our aim is to establish professional partnerships with a select number of growers/suppliers.

We constantly strive to work with our growers, helping them to embark upon new projects. An example of this is our Organic clementine farm in Spain, grown from virgin land and planted with new varieties specific to fulfilling our customer needs.
